Gwyndy is a very beautiful ancient farmstead set in a quiet and secluded position off a minor country lane. Nowadays the farm animals have long gone although there are still Welsh mountain ponies in the paddock and a wealth of wild life in our woodlands and adjoining wild countryside.

A country pub within ½ mile easy walking distance not only serves good food but has panoramic views of Snowdonia from your table. There are several alternative places to eat within three miles. About a mile distance is the village of Bethel with a well stocked village store and Post Office. The full range of shops including Morrison’s and Tesco’s can be found at the historic County town of Caernarfon which is only four miles away.

Although peace and quietness are guaranteed at ‘Gwyndy’ its location between the mountains and the sea is central to North Wales’ many and diverse attractions. There is generally someone on hand at the main house to offer advice on eating out or suggestions on places to visit. It is our aim to do all we can to make your stay an enjoyable one.
